The Micro BR marries up a legion of legendary BOSS guitar and vocal effects with ready-to-go rhythm tracks, so you’re immediately backed whether you’re looking to use the unit for rehearsals, guitar or vocal training or to get your next demo down. Two tracks can be recorded to at once and eight can be played back at any one time. However, with 64 virtual tracks you can afford yourself time to choose just the right take for each vocal or instrumental.
For truly on-the-fly recording, there are even stereo microphones built in to the unit itself, so the Boss Micro BR-BR 80 can double up as a dictaphone, field recorder or a quick way of capturing a live session or gig.
Whether you’re using the dual mics or instrument and mic inputs, you’ll be able to track up to 500 hours of audio, which can then even be mastered on the unit. Once you’ve tweaked your perfect mix, the USB connection allows you to export effortlessly to any DAW – perhaps the bundled Sonar X1 LE software.
