The Cornell 1st Fuzz Guitar effects pedal uses NKT 275 Germanium transistors which were the first type of transistor generally available in the early 1960s.
The transistors of the Cornell 1st Fuzz are carefully selected, there's even a a bias pot that have been added because this type of transistor is likely to drift over a period of time or in varying temperatures. This pedal comes with Carbon Composition resistors just like the original Germanium Fuzz Face pedals.
