The Fostex PM0.4 (Pair) PM0.4 is a part of the reputed Fostex PM-series of ultra-compact, powered nearfield studio monitors, ranging from 4 inch to 8 inch woofer size.
The Fostex PM0.4 monitor is naturally recommended for desk-top use but its superb audio performance in a compact physical size expands its applications to professional console top studio monitoring, audio installation as well portable audio monitoring.
The Fostex PM04 monitor's biamplification provides 18W to the 4 inch LF drivers and 18W to the extremely responsive 5/8 inch soft-dome tweeters. The 4 inch cones are made of Kevlar fibers for high rigidity and optimum damping, as well as incredible durability.
The Fostex PM04 design also features dampers around the tweeters that eliminate interference for clearer high-frequency response. The Fostex PM0.4 compact cabinets are specially designed to eliminate unwanted resonance and incorporate a long bass port for deep and accurate low-frequency response.
