The Novation Launchpad is a 64-button pad controller designed for use with Ableton Live software.
The Novation Launchpad was created with Ableton to provide the perfect pad controller for remixing. It features 64 multi-coloured pads for triggering and manipulating clips in Ableton Live. As well as the 64-pad grid, there are additional pads for accessing different modes and pages and editing mixer settings.
The Novation Launchpad has four different modes. Session mode is for playing existing loops and sounds, while User 1 mode allows users to play notes on individual instruments in real time. User 2 mode gives users the option of changing parameters in Ableton and the Mixer mode works just like a traditional mixer, editing volumes and panning of tracks and loops.
Powered by USB, the Launchpad is incredibly portable. Up to six Launchpads can be connected to Ableton Live at once, enabling total and instant control of all clips and modes.
