The Olympus DS-40 's integrated 512MB memory provides over 136 hours of recording time in LP mode, over 17 hours in SHQ stereo or over 8 hours in XSHQ stereo mode. In addition to recording and playing WMA files, with the DS range you can listen to MP3 and AA (Audible content) files. Users can download and play back music, podcasts of favourite shows, online lectures and audio books. All features are easily accessible using the large, white, backlit display and prominent buttons.
