The Samson Rubicon R6A Active Ribbon Studio Monitors features a 2-inch Velocity Ribbon high frequency transducer that compliments a 2-way active system capable of reproducing playback in its most natural form. Ribbon drivers have no resonant color and even dispersion, unlike a tradition diaphragm tweeter. The ribbon driver itself has no added sound characteristics, they are completely neutral. Ribbon technology gives you clean accurate and precise listening, which is why these monitors sound so natural and lifelike, just like a studio monitor should. A 4-segment high frequency lift control allows you to dial in the ribbon tweeter to your preferred level. The Samson Rubicon R 6A employs a 6 inch inverted-cone low frequency driver, powered by a built-in 75-watt amplifier to reproduce tight, clear bass sounds. The high frequency ribbon is powered by a built-in 75-watt amplifier. The R6A has a tuned, shelf-ported enclosure with balanced 1/4 inch jack and XLR input connectors.
