The Unity Audio Boulder is a three way active studio monitor with coaxial midrange-tweeter and two 7"
woofers. The Boulder delivers fast, accurate detailed sound for producers and studio engineers.
The Boulder from Unity Audio features the same technology as the highly acclaimed Rock studio monitor from Unity Audio.
The Boulder has a 7" woofer which reduces harmonic abnormalities and produces accurate low bass frequencies.
This is due to the 0.2mm aluminium foil chemically which is bonded to a rigid pulp fibre cone.
The Boulder Active Monitor also features dual coaxial midrange-tweeters is a unique fabrication of
flat aluminium honeycomb midrange ring radiator with a concentrically arranged folded ribbon tweeter.
This optimised the acoustic power and produces a wide, precise sound dispersion angle.
The amplifier modules fitted in The Boulder are bespoke designed by Tim de Paravicini (Esoteric Audio Research), known as one of the
best amplifier designers in the world. A total of four amplifier cards are used for each monitor.
The amplifier is a true discrete bi-polar with low feedback and with custom wound transformers, dedicated LF, Mid, HF
sections and overload/clip protection. The Boulder overall results in very fast and clean, and astoundingly accurate reproduction of your sound.
