The Yamaha PDX-W61 Wireless iPod Dock Speaker lets you enjoy your iPhone or iPod (not included) with all the extra performance you get from Yamaha’s AirWired wireless technology.
You’ll be surprised at how great the music from your iPhone/iPod sounds coming from the PDX-W61. The 15W x 2 digital amplifier outputs clean, dynamic power and the 8cm full-range cone speaker reproduces it accurately. The bass reflex port delivers full and rich bass sound. Best of all, because the AirWired connection transmits uncompressed data there’s no loss of audio quality.
The AUX-in terminal (stereo mini jack) on the back lets you connect your PC or another MP3 player. There’s even an Auto Blend function that lets you hear both sources at the same time.
Because it’s a wireless system, you can put the speaker unit wherever there’s some extra space. No complicated setup is necessary, just place your iPhone/iPod in the transmitter, which you can carry around or put down anywhere. When you dock the iPhone/iPod, the speaker unit automatically powers on, and you can adjust the volume from the iPhone/iPod.
