is an impressive all-round solution for any computer-based recording studio. The package also includes a library of high-quality Antelope effects hosted directly on the Goliath HD 3 and the Edge Duo modeling microphone with 11 microphone types. The interface works with absolutely mastering-compatible conversion rates and noise levels!
The Goliath HD 3 contains an AD/DA converter with 32 input and output channels. Of the inputs, 16 are accessed via TRS/XLR combo jacks with Accusonic microphone preamps on the rear panel and 16 via 2 D-Sub connectors. The analog outputs are completely controlled via D-Sub. For analog hardware 2 TRS-In/Out inserts are available. In addition, the HD 3 naturally has a monitor path with the same first-class sound quality. The inputs and outputs are complemented on the front panel by 4 DI instrument inputs and 2 transformer-balanced reamping outputs, making the Goliath HD 3 stand out from other solutions. In addition, all of the 20 preamps can be individually leveled via rotary controls.
The Goliath HD 3 communicates with the digital world via a multitude of interfaces, namely 2x MADI, 2x ADAT, 4x AES/EBU, Word Clock and 1x S/PDIF, so that the Goliath can be easily connected to existing or planned expansion units. The computer connection is achieved via Thunderbolt 2, HDX or USB 3.0.
With a huge effects library from Antelope's program, which includes detailed replicas of analog studio hardware as well as in-house developments, the Goliath HD 3 is a complete all-round recording solution for all applications. It's worth mentioning that the plug-ins are loaded internally, thus relieving your computer of processing power. For user-friendliness, the TFT display is used to control these effects.
