With the T7V, Adam Audio presents a near-field monitor that, due to its compact size and technical design, is ideal for use in small control rooms, for home recording, video post-production, broadcast applications or simply for listening to music on a PC. The speaker has an angled cabinet, a backward radiating bass reflex port, DSP-controlled crossovers and equalizers as well as analog connections (XLR/Cinch). The metal rear panel of the T7V houses the bass reflex port as well as numerous controls and analog connections. The U-ART tweeter is powered by a 20W amplifier, while a 50W amplifier drives the woofer. Despite the slim housing, the T7V delivers an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL per pair.
Its wide frequency response, wide dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprint make it an excellent choice for users looking for a small, professionally usable studio monitor.
If you need even more bass: the Adam Audio Sub8 subwoofer is the ideal addition!
The Adam Audio T7V at a glance:
Bought as reference monitors for comparing my mixes to my neumann kh120:s. Alltough on paper these go lower it does not sound like it. Pretty loose and non exsisting bass compared to the neumanns. But pretty good sound otherwise, ultimately sold them and using headphones now.
I like the sound quality of these speakers. It’s what we can get at this price range.
I feel like it lacks the lower range. Very good at mids and highs.
