The KeyLab 49 Black Edition from the French company Arturia is a 49-key USB/MIDI keyboard with touch response and aftertouch that can be ideally integrated into any studio or stage setup. Together with Arturia's Analog Lab software, this 25-key keyboard becomes an incomparable hybrid instrument with over 5000 TAE synthesizer presets.
All presets have been selected and compiled with great care. The unrivalled sound quality is based on the engines of the following Arturia synthesizers: mini V, Modular V, CS80V, ARP 2600 V, Prophet V, Prophet VS, SEM V and Jupiter-8V, as well as the Wurlitzer V, the detailed recreation of the classic 200A electric piano.
As a professional hybrid synthesizer, the KeyLab 49 Black Edition offers the direct playing feel of a hardware instrument, combined with the flexibility of software. The Analog Lab software is perfectly adapted to the MIDI keyboard, allowing parameters such as cutoff, resonance, envelopes and much more to be edited directly and intuitively.

Of course, the KeyLab 49 Black Edition also functions as a universal USB/MIDI controller for other software and hardware. The MIDI assignments can be adjusted on the keyboard itself or via the included MIDI Control Center software.

The keyboard looks great, keys are plastic but sounds and instruments are professional grate. Can be used live, provided that your PC and soundcard can operate with less than 10 ms latency - works fine for me.
