Excellent sound, very low noise, high quality mic preamps. Controlled both Mac and PC. Many different output, difficult to correspond it at the beginning. Sound is really beautiful, clear high frequencies and warm bass.

I have used many interfaces over the past 20 years, and I would rate the ID22 up there as one of the very best. The preamps and conversion are pristine. Superb - as good as anything out there. How they do it for this price, I have no idea. It also has two major advantages that many others do not: direct access to the A/D converter via the two 'insert' TRS jacks and and ADAT connectivity. You can therefore easily insert external hardware. It sounds great, is well made, and you have great flexibility and connectivity.

A top quality product in an extremely affordable price! Top class converters, outstanding preamps, modern and clever product design. Perhaps a midi in/out and a power off/standby switch would make id-22 the perfect audio inetface

Upgraded to this from a Scarlett 2i2 that I've been using for the last 8 years. I wanted to go for this one because I've heard good things about the preamps and converters used. Moving to a new interface that works a little differently has meant a bit of a learning curve and am way off getting the best out of this thing but the sound quality I've gotten from just playing around with it is a substantial improvement and am so happy I went with it!
