raccomended to all!!!
I arrived home to find my parcel waiting for me in my safe place , DPD are awesome. It was well packaged , large outer box compact product box . I opened her up nice solid unit for the price , you only need a guitar lead type cable for these switches I thought , I wonder if it will work without the battery powered LED feature. Plugged it into my katana 50 and it did , which is ideal for home. If you are playing in a bar you can pop the battery in so you can tell which channel it’s on . I just use it to change from rhyth to solo sounds and it does the job great. I like this type of footswitch it’s easy to hit when you’re singing and playing . It looks like you can hook two together using the slots on the side then use a trs to 2 mono cable to hook it up to your katana . I would defo buy another if it was stolen. An easy transaction with great delivery . Thanks
I was after a latch pedal that was low in price but reasonable quality. Delivery was quick. The pedal seems quite sturdy at first look but when you take the back off to put battery in you discover the few ’budget’ quality parts involved in creating the electronics. Having said that it works well - I have only had it for a week so probably not the best reviewer! One thing where care is needed after placing battery (where there doesn’t seem to be a ‘holder’ for it) is the LED as it seems quite fragile. Screw used in holding it together are self-threaders so I wonder how long they will last. The top of the unit is metal but the bottom is plastic. Overall I would give the product 3 out of 5 fir build quality, but for a ‘budget’ pedal for which I paid £7.06 + delivery, then I have to give it 5 out of 5. Others are offering the same (though in some cases cosmetically slightly different pedal) for way more - avoid them and buy from DV47 who often do the best deals in the marketplace.
Really just well built and an absolutely great and cheap alternative to the boss footswitch for my boss katana 50. Plugged in and worked straight away. I recommend using a battery for the leds if you're playing live
