BOSS FS-6
The Boss FS-U Footswitch (silver) and the Boss Footswitch FS-5L (black) have been the industry standards for years.
The FS-6 is two originals in one housing: latch- and momentary-type switching!
The double pedal with LED indicators, the FS-U can be effortlessly connected with the FS-5U, FS-5L and AB-2. Operating both pedals can be done via the spate mono or a shared stereo jack socket.
- Switchable between : latch- and momentary-type switching
- LED indicator for ON/OFF in latch mode
- Polarity switching for positive or negative impulses in momentary-type switching
- Mono jack socket
- Additional stereo socket for both pedals – for many Boss and Roland products, a simple stereo cable is all that is required to connect the FS-6
- Connectable to FS-5U, FS-5L and AB-2
- No mechanical or electrical noise, in contrast to many conventional footswitches

This BOSS pedal is significantly more than many equivalents but where the money is spent is obvious, with latching controls, polarity switches and a real robustness to the design which lets you know it won't let you down in a live environment. Recommended over the cheaper alternatives - you get what you pay for!

I bought the Boss footswitch about a month after I bought my very first amp some years ago, and since then I have only used it just a few times...
Ofcourse a footswitch can come in handy on live performances, and it does the job but its a bit overpriced, in my local stores its even more expensive. The pedal itself is not so great either, you kinda have to wear shoes, on socks it will be harder to push it down. So I would save up your money and buy a boss pedal instead, a distortion or delay, its better than a footswitch, trust me.
