A five-string hot-rodded electric bass, the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ V CM Metallic Black combines classic style with agile playing characteristics and fierce bass tones.
The comfortable "Slim C" neck made of caramelized maple and the alder body of the Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ V are bolted together.
Caramelized Maple Neck and Alder Body.
Under the black metallic finish, the Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass hides an alder body that, thanks to the traditional lines, fits the player with the usual comfort. A haptic highlight is the bolt-on neck made of caramelized maple, which promises particularly smooth playing characteristics thanks to the "Slim C" profile with satin finish and rounded fingerboard edges. To ensure that every note can be safely grasped even on dark stages, fluorescent Luminlay side dots mark the positions between the 20 frets in addition to the classic dot inlays.
A Charvel split-coil and a DiMarzio Area J pickup together with the active 3-band EQ provide versatile bass sounds.

Even the low B-string is integrated into the sound with tight precision. The musically tuned, active 3-band tone control of the electric bass guitar also allows the precise adjustment of the timbre.
