The Chase Bliss Audio Blooper combines classic phrase looping with extensive possibilities for creative manipulation. The looper section offers up to eight recording layers with undo/redo function and three different recording modes: In Normal mode, the Blooper can be used like a usual looper pedal and adds all modifiers to the signal afterwards. In Additive mode, all modifier and stability settings are recorded together with the loop. Useful live functions like one-shot sample launching or stutter effects are finally available with the Sampler mode. Of course, as a true Chase Bliss circuit, the Blooper also offers extensive control options in the form of front-panel DIP switches, which allow control of specific parameters via expression or ramp functions, and even communications with other devices via
Chase Bliss Audio BlooperInitially I was overwhelmed and confused by the options but after a day of playing with it, I got to grips with the basics. I’m finding there’s still more to discover. Works like a regular looper pedal, but the layers dial allows creating whole songs with a lot more dynamics... using an expression pedal helps a lot. I love pitch shifting delay and a tape style delays coming out of this.
I find this a really inspirational pedal.
That pedal is the one I have the most fun... you never know how things will ends when you start fiddling. There are a lot of good surprises. You can always use this as an excellent looper also. But the effects are so fun...
