Cleartone Electric EMP Strings
The Cleartone CT9460 6-String Electric Guitar Strings is a set of 6-string electric guitar strings, designed for drop C# tuning, with an EMP coating, a hexagonal core, and made of nickel plated steel, with a gauge of .012 - .060. The Clarke CT9460 strings feature extreme long life with a brilliant sound and because of the Enhanced Molecular Protection process the life of the string is extended without influencing the sound or feel. Through the extremely low profile, roughly one micron thick coating, the strings feel, look and sound like an uncoated set. Even the plain strings are treated and so the whole set is considered long life.

Ive tried many sets of strings from the DR DDTs to Ernie Ball custom heavy sets. They fit the bill nicely!! Also, I think Cleartone is making the best coated strings. These seem to be more transparent - although obviously not as bright as a fresh set of stainless. they work nicely in the C#.

Realy good strings for heavy music, but not for me. Ive tried a lot of heavy strings and If you need good LOW sound - chose the Cleartone, sounds great for C or C# tone, dont even try in tones hagher than C#.
