The D'Addario EXL148 Extra Heavy Guitar Strings 12-60 is a set of six strings for an electric guitar. The EXL148 set is an extreme hybrid optimally designed for tuning guitars down to C, or for players who prefer a heavier gauge string. The XL Nickel Wound series is one of D’Addario’s most popular strings thanks to their excellent intonation and suitability for the widest variety of guitar and musical styles. These strings are precision wound with nickel-plated steel onto a carefully drawn high-carbon steel core that is hexagonally shaped.
