Nithonat is a Drum Machine synthesizer plugin from D16 Group TR-606 that emulates the functions of the classic Roland TR-606 and adds more parameters to its functions. Over the years, the sounds of the original signal have been used by various performers in electro, hip-hop, RnB and many other genres. With this software plugin you start where others had success and go one step further from there!
On the original 606, the only changeable value was the volume. With the Nythonat plugin, additional control functions were added to change the sound in directions that were not possible with the original. Yet you still have all the familiar features of the 606 at your fingertips - from thundering bass kicks to chattering snares and completely synthetic and unnatural drums and hihats. For the first time since the eighties it is possible to experience the true, unimagined analog potential of the 606.
The Nithonat Drum Machine has been redesigned from the ground up. The synthesizers are therefore something very special. They have a very characteristic hihat and unique cymbal sounds based on the emulation of the original circuitry. The bass drum has an incomparable attack and violent drums. The snare, on the other hand, sounds unusually sandy.
These special features guarantee that the 606 not only remains a worse 808, but with this plugin can unfold as a wonderful instrument in itself and adds a bombastic oldschool feeling to every track.
The Nithonat contains powerful internal sequencers. The tracks can be edited and modified in a simple and intuitive way thanks to many useful functions. The intuitive user interface makes the sequencer very easy to use. In addition to the many internal sequencer modes, the Nithonat plugin can also be used as a sound module. All sounds and functions in the Nithonat can be controlled from a host sequencer. Experimenting with the Nithonat can produce interesting and unexpected results. The operation of the Nithonat is very similar to that of the Drumazon or Nepheton plugins from D16. If you have already gained experience with these, the Nithonat will hardly require any training time.
