The Danubius GACE Fishman Presys expands the Antique series of the Slovakian manufacturer Dowina. It is a semi-massive acoustic guitar in Grand Auditorium design, which is versatile due to its construction and specifications.
Thanks to its open-pore finish and solid cedar top, the guitar develops a very warm and powerful sound that unfolds quickly and effortlessly. The laminated Macassar ebony body also enhances the sound with expressive and defined bass and enriches the visual appearance with its multi-faceted grain, which is interspersed with a coarse marbling. A noble wood binding borders the high-quality material and forms a tasteful contrast to the woods of the body, whose top features a transparent pickguard and a herringbone soundhole rosette that matches the top binding.
The Nato neck with a fingerboard of finest ebony offers in combination with the cutaway, a nut width of 45 mm and a scale length of 650 mm excellent playability in all 20 frets, which intonate perfectly due to the conscientious processing of bridge inlay and saddle made of bone. Chrome-plated die-cast tuners adorn the eye-catching headstock, which is adorned with the manufacturer's initial "D", allowing the player to tune the strings with ease and precision. The Dowina Danubius GACE is completed with a high-quality Fishman Presys+ pickup system, which allows the amplified acoustic sound to come into its own.
