ESI presents with the planet 22x a revolutionary and network-compatible audio interface, which fulfills the requirements of a professional music studio on the basis of the Dante protocol. Thanks to its compact dimensions and robust housing, it also cuts a fine figure in mobile use with consistently good sound quality. On board are high-quality 24-bit / 96kHz AD converters with 118 dB (a) dynamic range and 24-bit / 96kHz DA converters with 123 dB (a) dynamic range, while the two balanced analog line inputs can also be used with the integrated and transparent microphone preamplifiers or via Hi-Z input stage for instruments. A step potentiometer also allows the balanced analog line outputs for the master level to be adjusted. The Dante interface is operated either via the supplied 12V DC power supply or the network cable via PoE (Power over Ethernet).
Of course the planet 22x works together with all other Dante compatible audio devices in the Audio-IP network. This allows existing networks to be extended cost-effectively and flexibly with additional high-quality channels and, together with the Dante Virtual Soundcard, all common recording applications on the Mac and PC can be carried out in a professional studio environment. On top is the ESI planet 22x Studio interface with a software package including DAW and plugins.
