Modern metal guitar with EMG pickups and Evertune bridge

With the ESP LTD Viper-1000 Evertune Charcoal Metallic Satin ESP sends a version of the popular Viper electric guitar into the race that is optimally tailored to modern metal. While the proven set-thru construction with mahogany body, maple top and "Thin and Mahogany neck creates the basis for first-class playing and sound characteristics, the eponymous Evertune bridge promises a permanently correct and robust tuning of the guitar. Last but not least, active EMG pickups elicit top-notch rock and metal sounds from the guitar's amplifier, maintaining a sharp contour even at low tunings.

ESP LTD Viper-1000 Evertune Charcoal Metallic Satin
ESP LTD Viper-1000 Evertune Charcoal Metallic Satin is a modern rock and metal guitar for stage and studio.
ESP LTD Viper-1000 Evertune Charcoal Metallic Satin Back
The set-thru neck in the "Thin U" profile, which flows smoothly into the body, can be played easily up to the highest registers.

Comfortable Set-Thru Guitar

The proven set-thru construction, with the neck glued deep into the body, not only gives the LTD Viper-1000 Evertune a powerful sound, but also promises excellent playing characteristics. While the mahogany body in the characteristic double-horned Offset-Design bears a solid maple top, the three-piece neck is made of mahogany and a Macassar ebony fingerboard. The smooth transition between neck and body and the slim "Thin and Profile" make the electric guitar easy to play up to the highest registers, with the extra stainless steel jumbo frets allowing bendings to glide as if on rails.

ESP LTD Viper-1000 Evertune Charcoal Metallic Satin Body
Active EMG pickups elicit precisely articulated metal sounds from the guitar amp, even with drop tunings. The Evertune bridge always keeps the electric guitar in the correct tuning.

Active EMG pickups for premium metal sounds

As pickup for the Viper Evertune ESP chooses active EMG humbuckers with beautiful "Brushed Black Chrome" Metalworks caps. In the bridge position, the decade-proven EMG 81 ceramic pickup provides razor-sharp distortion sounds, with a tight midrange focus and crisp Attack that are optimal even with drop tunings in the Mix. In the neck position, on the other hand, the EMG 60TW-R pickup promises not only the transparent and mid-rich sound of the EMG classic, but also dynamic and glassy single-coil sounds thanks to the split option. The pickup is straightforwardly managed by means of a 3-way switch and controls for Volume and Tone.

ESP LTD Viper-1000 Evertune Charcoal Metallic Satin Headstock
The headstock of the Viper-1000 Evertune carries six Grover tuners with Tulip wings.

Evertune Bridge

Last but not least, ESP equips the LTD Viper-1000 Evertune Charcoal Metallic Satin with an F-Model bridge from innovative hardware manufacturer Evertune. Thanks to the innovative mechanics, the Evertune bridge always keeps each string in the correct tuning even in difficult climatic conditions, making the guitar ideal for touring and studio sessions. The headstock also features classic Grover tuners with beautiful Tulip wings.
