The Palisades V2 is a mammoth 2-channel overdrive pedal based on the TS808 tube screamer. The feature set on this pedal is extensive and is capable of a huge range of tones, mainly using the large Voice and Bandwidth knobs. The six settings on the Voice knob change the clipping diodes that directly affect the distortion’s behaviour, whereas the five selections found on the Bandwidth knob alter gain structure and the final tone of the signal. The Boost and Volume knobs set the level and boost of the output whilst the Tone knob can be turned anti-clockwise to warm the signal or clockwise to brighten. A Normal/Bright switch has also been added to use in conjunction of with the Tone control when dialling in. Each channel has a dedicated Gain knob, and a Buffer switch rounds out the options for this pedals remarkable tone manifesting prowess. Flexi-Switch technology resides in the foot switches, allowing for simultaneous momentary and latching style switching.
