The Les Paul Tribute Plus Vintage Sunburst by Epiphone features a solid Mahogany back with a solid, carved hard Maple cap with Flame Maple veneer to create the ultimate combination of warmth and bite. For the best rock tone and sustain the Tribute PLUS takes that to the next level featuring the original "deep set" neck joint. The solid Mahogany neck with hand-fitted, glued-in joint extends well into the neck pickup cavity creating maximum neck-to-body contact and acting almost like one continuous piece of wood. Combined with the Mahogany/Maple body, the result is a tribute to Les' timeless guitar design with the sound that you can only get from a Les Paul.
The Epiphone Tribute Plus Les Paul is fitted with a pair of authentic Gibson USA '57 Classic humbucking pickups. Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus Vintage SunburstAmazing guitar with outstanding look.But the good is inside,pickups having nice warm, vintage sound with the 57 Gibsons.Works amazing for blues,classic rock,and some hard rock that i need.The slimmer taper neck is much more comfortable than other les paul i ever tried,in my opinion and the workmanship is really good.No fret buzz with the action been low enough from the factory.The body is a little bit heavy but not bad at all,cause it gives a nice feeling of touch.Overall,that guitar has details that make the difference and i suggest it to everyone who wants quality on build and sound whithout spending much.
This guitar has high-end hardware, such as Gibson pickups which make it a real value for the money. Playability is great and a real pleasure. Neck is really thin and slides are easy. Very low action. Tuners are high-end. A bit disappointed with the volume controls, were not perfectly aligned and one got off after a couple of months.
