Structure

The Eurolite LED Theatre COB 200 WW is an LED theatre spotlight, equipped with a 200-watt COB LED. The term COB stands for Chip-on-Board-LEDS. In contrast to the usual SMD LEDs with a maximum of 2 LED chips, COB LEDs have many individual LED chips arranged. The COB LED of the theatre spotlight is characterised by a homogeneous beam quality and a high colour rendering index of greater than 95 Ra. The light beam of a COB LED appears as a uniform light and no longer as individual points of light. They also have an extremely long life and are energy efficient. With a colour temperature of 3200K, a warm white light is produced, making the spotlight ideal for white light in theatres, concert stages and many other venues. Thanks to the flicker-free projection, it can also be used in television productions.

Equipment and control

The theatre spotlight can be controlled in auto, music, master/slave and DMX mode. In music mode, the music is controlled via the integrated microphone, the sensitivity of which can be easily adjusted. Integrated show programs in auto and music mode can be played back without further intervention. Additionally available are a strobe effect with variable speed and an adjustable dimmer. In DMX mode several modes with 1,2 or 4 channels can be selected. Addressing and setting of all functions is done via the control unit with a display and four operating buttons on the back of the spotlight. Alternatively, the fixture can be conveniently controlled via the supplied EUROLITE IR-7 IR remote control.

Safety and installation

The Eurolite LED Theatre COB 200 WW has robust housing. The cooling of the internal parts is done by a fan, which ensures a silent operation. PowerCon connectors are provided for safe power supply. The power output enables the simple series connection of up to 8 devices. Thanks to the included mounting bracket, the theatre spotlight is also suitable for fixed installation on trusses. With the help of the additional bracket, the spotlight can also be placed on the ground.

Last but not least, the Eurolite LED Theatre COB 200 WW is compatible to QuickDMX - the radio DMX system of Eurolite, whereby DMX signals can be received and transmitted without annoying cable tangle. For this purpose, the fixture has a phantom-powered USB socket for connecting a QuickDMX receiver.
