The Evans BD18G1CW G1 Coated Bass Drum Batter Head 18" is a bass drum batter head that features a size of 18" and is made from single-ply 10mil film. The Evans G1 series features a single 10mil ply of film with a bright sustain and broad tuning range.
The G1 is a starting point for creating traditional bass drum sounds. This batter head is tuned in the traditional 'Be-Bop' range, allowing it to blend effortlessly with toms; all whilst providing subtle reinforcement for the bass line. The coated surface provides more low register and attack.
