EVANS Hydraulic Blue Snare Head B14HB
The Evans B14HB 14" Snare Drum Head Hydraulic Blue features two plies, one 7.5 mil film and one 6.5 mil film. Between the plies is a thin layer of oil that offers durability and a fat, deep sound with a short attack. This head is great for hard hitting rock drummers and blue design makes them stand out from the rest.
All Evans heads feature the Level 360 Collar. This collar ensures a balanced contact around the bearing edge of the shell, making tuning an absolute breeze and enhancing the sound quality by allowing the head to better resonate though out your drum shell.

I have used Hydraulics on all my toms and the Bass drum and was more than pleased with the result you get that nice fat sound and very low resonance which is normally achieved with lots of dampening. So after seeing a demo of these I thought great I can get rid of the dampening totally in the Snare drum and increase projection. Therefore I was a bit disappointed when the resonance was still there after fitting the head maybe I still need some dampening but not as much as before that I will try soon plus possibly gel a pad.
