The Faber ABRL-59NG Nashville Replacement Bridge is a replacement bridge, featuring a construction from authentic nickel-plated brass, with an aged nickel finish. The ABRL-59NG is perhaps the most vintage correct replacement bridge available on the market, with flat top saddles that provide tight, 100% mechanical contact in the ABR frame. Use this ABRL model bridge on your Nashville equipped guitar, using the existing insert and one-piece post/thumbwheel. No modifications and nothing else is needed. You may also use this ABRL with the Faber BSWKIT, iNsert, or NSWKIT when those parts are used on a Nashville equipped guitar. A perfect replacement bridge.
The main features of the Faber ABRL-59NG Nashville Replacement Bridge include:
I replaced the bridge on my 2016 Gibson LP traditional hp with this, the titanium saddles gave the instrument a needle-sharp top-end I hated. With the most basic istallation without changing the bushings - I only installed the proper Faber studs at this time - there is sunstantial increase in sustain and the tone turned to warm/vintage. The only shortcoming of the design I can see is that the original Gibson Nashville bridge was easier with height-adjustment, now I have to use my fingers to do that. The locking design does away with the Allen key adjustment option. Of course there is some compromise in clarity when you come from titanium, but I rather have my Les Paul sound like a Les Paul proper.
Bought this bridge to replace the standard Nashville bridge on my Gibson ES137. Using the Insert kit, can't fault it. Now I have no need to topwrap around the tailpiece as this bridge is thinner and has a much better connection to the body with the Insert kit. The ingenius locking caps are a great feature, so set it and forget it when changing strings. Definate increase in sustain and clarity.
