The premium, Translucent Black finish shows off the figured maple top of the Forum IV SD Piezo and is tastefully highlighted with a beautiful faux-binding.
This premium guitar series is produced in limited runs in beautiful Danzig, crafted by hand by renowned guitar makers. The finished guitars are then delivered straight to us, cutting out any middleman, and that is how we are able to offer these high quality instruments at such a low price.
Only carefully selected premium woods are exclusively used in the construction of the Forum IV. At Fame, fast drying methods are absolutely taboo! The adopted premium woods are all naturally dried and stored for long periods of time. This ensures that the final product doesn’t warp and remains absolutely tuning stabile.
When it comes to the sound, these guitars are true all-rounders. The popular Seymour Duncan SH4 and SH2 humbuckers, with their warm and full sound, can be switched to single-coil operation through the Push/Pull function of the master volume knob. The mahogany body in combination with the maple top delivers a transparent, assertive and crisp sound. From Funky to Metal, any conceivable sound can be coxed out of this instrument. A set maple neck rounds off the Forum and guarantees epic sustain.
Review from ‘Gitarre&Bass’ 06.12 (translated):
“How does Music Store, despite the solid figured maple top, Seymour Duncan Humbuckers and Schaller Hardware mange to offer this guitar for this price? … Overall, this guitar possesses good resonating characteristics, is comfortable to play, provides excellent, versatile sounds, exemplary craftsmanship and also provides something for the eye!”
Conclusion from ‘Gitarre&Bass’ 05.14 (translated):
I have it for a little bit than a month now and I haven't touch my other guitars since. It's just a great guitar, there is no aspect of it that I dislike. I have to say that I use to play on an ibanez S 470 and the gap (not the same price range) is quite important, but it stil feels really amaizing. The sound is great, I play it on a tiny terror with a Marshal speaker and it has a very versatile personality. I play different styles and it sounds good wether you're trying to have a really warm and clear sound or a heavy distortion one. It's also really comfortable to play and I was quite astonished by its weight (feels pretty light to me for its size). Also the sustain is great. I cannot say a word about the piezzo as I have not used it. In conclusion a great guitar for a great price. If you care more about your sound than the name appearing on the head of your guitar I would deffinitelly recomand you the forum IV.
