The Fender CD-60 V3 Mahogany is great for beginners as well as advanced players thanks to its user-friendly features. In addition, the traditional dreadnought Western guitar produces a warm and powerful sound, which comes into its own especially well with chords. The flat neck is extremely easy to finger in all 20 frets, which is especially helpful for inexperienced fingers. In addition, the tuners allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which are already set very flat at the factory. Visually, the instrument is rounded off by filigree bindings, a discreet soundhole rosette and, last but not least, a noble high-gloss finish.
To ensure that the guitar delivers maximum sound results even with light touches, the body is made of ultra-thin laminated tonewoods. The flat scalloped X-bracing of the mahogany top ensures an almost attack. Mahogany back and sides enrich the sound with warm basses at the same time. The mahogany neck is equipped with a walnut fingerboard, which is very obliging to grip in all positions.
To ensure clean intonation on the 643 mm scale length, the saddle and the 43 mm wide nut are perfectly matched. Chrome-plated die-cast tuners are inserted into the headstock for easy operation. For orientation, the frets are marked with simple dot inlays that unobtrusively contrast the dark walnut wood. The top is surrounded by a multi-layer binding that creates a tasteful transition to the sides and harmonizes perfectly with the double-ring soundhole rosette. To protect it from scratches, the top is also equipped with a large black pickguard.
