An indestructible hardware setup with Adjusto-Matic bridge, Anchored Tailpiece and classic Vintage-Style tuners completes Fender's Kingfish Telecaster Deluxe.

Based on the popular Telecaster Deluxe from 1972, the Kingfish Signature Tele not only impresses with its shimmering purple "Mississippi Night" finish inspired by a winter night over the blues metropolis and Kingfish's hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi, but also with first-class handling. With a comfortable back design, the alder body hugs the player with perfect balance. The strong V-profile of the roasted maple neck also fits perfectly in the hand and, together with the 12" radius rosewood fingerboard, creates ideal conditions for the classic and modern playing techniques of the blues.

Custom Kingfish Humbucker

The electrical sound conversion of the Fender Kingfish Telecaster Deluxe is done by two Custom Kingfish humbuckers, which are perfectly tuned to Christone Ingram's playing style. The pickups are equipped with offset pole screws for bass and treble strings and offer an amazingly flexible sound that is ideal for hot overdrive licks and soulful clean passages with a tight bass foundation, rich midrange punch and silky highs. What's more, the humbuckers are agile in their response to playing, so every note can be expressively showcased. In addition to the 3-way toggle switch for selecting the pickup, separate volume and tone controls are provided for each pickup.
