With the Fender Limited Edition Special Jazzmaster Bigsby Ocean Turquoise Fender presents a special interpretation of the well-known electric guitar in offset design within the Magnificent 7 Collection. The classic instrument with its alder body and screwed maple neck has two Fender American Vintage Single Coils, which are controlled via a substantially reduced control panel. In addition, the electric guitar has a Bigsby vibrato system that gives this Fender Jazzmaster an independent character.
For the construction of the Fender American Special Jazzmaster Bigsby, Fender uses the recipe with an alder body, screwed maple neck and rosewood fingerboard that has been tried and tested since 1958. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a balanced basic sound with fast attack. The offset design also allows the body to nestle comfortably against the body when playing the electric guitar, while any playing technique is possible on the "C" profile of the neck.
The Fender Magnificent 7 American Special Jazzmaster uses two Fender American Vintage '65 single coils for its classic sound. Thanks to their design with six magnets and flat-wound coils, they deliver particularly warm, powerful tones, while at the same time preserving the typically clear single coil charatker. Both pickups are controlled by a straight control panel with 3-way toggle switch as well as master volume and master tone controls.
Another special feature of the Fender Limited Edition American Special is the classic Bigsby vibrato system, which is rarely found on this guitar model. With its characteristic design, it significantly shapes the appearance of the American Special Jazzmaster and at the same time enables the decoration of chords and melodies with gently shimmering modulations. The Fender Magnificent 7 Jazzmaster is also equipped with a Tune-O-Matic style bridge and precision mechanics.
