For the Limited Edition Player Jazzmaster, Fender naturally relies on the well-known offset design, which combines a distinctive look with comfortable playing characteristics. Thanks to the asymmetrical waist and the ergonomic contours at the front and back, the alder body promises a snug playing position with stable balance both when sitting and standing. The bolt-on maple neck, on the other hand, fits comfortably in the hand thanks to the slim "Modern C" profile, so that both classic and modern playing techniques go effortlessly out of the finders on the 22-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard.

As pickups for the Limited Edition Player Jazzmaster, Fender chooses two classic Jazzmaster single coils. The traditionally built pickups have flat but extremely wide coils, which in conjunction with the individual pole pieces promise an amazingly warm sound that never lacks the transparency typical of single coils and is suitable not only for full cleans, but also for a characterful overdrive. Compared to the original from the end of the Fifties, the Limited Edition Player Jazzmaster offers a slimmed-down circuitry of 3-way pickup switch and general volume and tone pots, with the help of which the sound can be adjusted quickly and intuitively.
Encapsulated Fender Die-Cast tuners keep the Limited Edition Player Jazzmaster securely in proper tuning even after frequent use of the tremolo system.
Authentic add-on parts
Of course, Fender completes the Limited Edition Player Jazzmaster PF Ice Blue Metallic with the obligatory hardware equipment, which more than meets professional demands for function and reliability.
