Product information - FENDER Limited Edition Vintera Road Worn '50s Stratocaster HSS MN Sonic Blue

Electric guitar with Fifties-Specs, nitrocellulose finish and HSS pickup setup, including gigbag

The Fender Limited Edition Vintera Road Worn '50s Stratocaster HSS MN Sonic Blue evokes the vibe of modified Strats from the Golden Era of the 1950s. Two Vintage-Style '50s single coils with classic Formvar winding wire and a powerful Player Series humbucker combine the best historic blues and rock tones in one instrument. Playability-wise, the Vintera Road Worn '50s Strat stays as close to the original as possible, offering a classic 7.25" fretboard radius, a distinctive "Soft V" neck profile, and narrow vintage frets from the early Stratocaster models. Of course, classic Fifties appointments in the form of a single-ply pickguard and the original Fender "Spaghetti" logo on the headstock are not to be missed. The Vintera Road Worn '50s Stratocaster HSS MN Sonic Blue also features an authentic nitrocellulose finish with the broken-in charm of the Road Worn Relic.

Authentic Fifties Construction

In terms of construction, Fender follows the historical guidelines of the fifties with the Vintera Road Worn '50s Stratocaster. The comfortable-to-play "contour body" with generous comfort shaping is made of alder, while the bolt-on neck is a one-piece maple construction. The traditional "Soft V" neck profile and the fingerboard with 7.25" radius and narrow vintage fretting guarantee the comfortable playing feel of a Strat from the golden era. The thin nitrocellulose finish with charming Road Worn Relic also gives the guitar the authentic look of a recorded vintage original.

Two vintage-style '50s single-coils and a Player Series humbucker deliver versatile guitar tones.

Flexible vintage sounds thanks to HSS pickup setup

The flexible pickup setup of the limited edition Vintera Road Worn Strat HSS is inspired by the frequently modified guitars of the Fifties and promises a particularly rich sound spectrum, making the electric guitar an all-rounder for Blues and rock. In neck and middle position, authentic formvar-wire wound Vintage-Style '50s Strat single-coils deliver the coveted bell tones with lively dynamics and just the right amount of snap. The Player Series humbucker in the bridge position promises powerful tone with accentuated mids that are ideally suited for the amp's overdrive channel. The familiar 5-way circuit with master volume and two tone controls grants full control over the sound of the electric guitar.

Authentic Vintage-Style Hardware

Of course, Fender completes the Vintera Road Worn '50s Stratocaster HSS MN Sonic Blue with authentic Fifties-style Hardware hardware. The proven 6-Saddle Synchronized Tremolo on the body convinces with a buttery smooth handling and decorates melodies and chords with shimmering pitch modulations if desired. On the small Fifties Strat headstock, vintage-style tun ers ensure an exact and robust tuning of the guitar, even when frequently reaching for the vibrato lever.
