For sound conversion the Fender MonoNeon Jazz Bass V MN Neon Yellow relies on two Fender Custom-Wound Fireball 5-String Bass humbuckers wound especially for the signature bass. The two double coils known from the Fender Meteora Bass from the Player Plus series were specially adapted to MonoNeon's sound wishes, and his distinctive sound palette of Southern Soul to Funk skillfully cover. In addition, an 18 V preamplifier is used, which knows how to adapt the sound of the MonoNeon Bass with the help of its 3-band equalizer to all possible areas of application.
