Fender's Squier Bullet Mustang HH skilfully combines the compact and expressive design of the Mustang with the straightforward construction of a double humbucker assembly. Accordingly, the Bullet Mustang feels especially at home in the tugging realms of grunge, punk, rock and metal. Both pickups are controlled by a 3-way toggle switch, volume and tone controls, while the fixed hardtail bridge with six single riders for each string contributes to the resonant sound of the Mustang.
I bought this guitar for my daughter to start learning guitar on. It is great for this purpose due to the light weight and slightly shorter scale length.
For the money this guitar is amazing. Don't get me wrong it is a little rough around the edges but nothing that can't be sorted out. When it arrived I adjusted the truss rod as the neck was slightly bowed but it did not need any other adjustment and now has a nice low action. Intonation was great. The fret edges were all nice and smooth with no sharp/rough edges. The only thing to note is that the neck is unfinished. Again this is easily sorted - I plan to just rub in some Danish Oil to give it a nice satin finish and protect it. After this it will probably play better than my other guitars.
For the money there is nothing to complain about. Even the pickups sound reasonable. If my daughter doesn't continue her playing I have a great fun practice guitar for myself.
