With the G&L Tribute LB-100 MN Olympic White, the tradition-rich company from Fullerton presents a subtly modernized interpretation of probably the most influential bass design ever. The classically built bolt-on Bass offers top-notch playing characteristics with its slim body design and wide "Medium C" maple neck, while an Alnico split-coil with traditional passive electrics delivers powerful sounds ranging from rock, blues, funk and R'n'B. Last but not least, G&L completes the LB-100 MN Olympic White electric bass with the in-house Saddle-Lock bridge and precise Open-Gear tuners.

Electric bass with first-class handling

Through subtle modifications of the classic design, the Tribute LB-100 Bass impresses with first-class playing characteristics. The slim poplar body, which carries a chic ash top, convinces not only with an optimal balance on the strap and on the thigh, but also with unhindered accessibility of the high registers thanks to the generous Cutaways. The six-bolt maple neck offers comfortable playing characteristics due to the "Medium C" profile with 44.5 mm nut width with plenty of space for clean finger placement on the 21-fret maple fingerboard.

Alnico split coil with passive electrics.

As a pickup G&L chooses an in-house split coil with Alnico magnets. Placed in the sweet spot in the middle of the body, the pickup elicits powerful sounds with rich growling low-mids from the bass amplifier, which are perfectly suited for grooves between blues, rock, funk and R'n'B. To adjust the tone, the electric bass guitar also has a classic passive circuit with volume control and a treble slider.

High-quality hardware

High-quality hardware equipment completes the G&L Tribute LB-100 MN Olympic White electric bass. As a bridge naturally the extremely massive G&L Saddle-Lock Bridge is used, which supports the lively sound character and the even Sustain of the E-Bass due to the deep anchoring in the body. Lockable string saddles also guarantee exact adjustment of intonation and string action. At the headstock, tuning-stable open-gear tuners also keep the Tribute LB-100 securely in the correct tuning.
