Im used to the size 09-46 and this is the first time that I use the 10-52.
On my Strat they are giving a very aggressive sound... Probably I will stay with this set.
I use these strings to play a rhythmic standard E tuning and am am looking after a solid response and a dynamic tone.
I am mildly satisfied. The quality of the string is below average and the finish is relatively bad. Despite I like the packaging, the overall impression is cheap.
But the string are of correct quality, the metal of the strings is soft and allow to install the strings easily.
The strings have a good tension and response in standard D tuning. String are fair for drop C tuning but not lower (on a 25" scale length).
All in all, it is fair for 5€ but I will probaby go back to Ernie Ball which have to my mind a better finish.
