LP-Custom body and neck construction

Following the traditional manufacturing steps of the Premium model, the mahogany body of the 1957 Les Paul Custom 2-Pickup Ebony Ultra Light Aged is finished with an arched mahogany top, unlike the maple top of the Goldtop available at the time, and features multi-ply body binding. The mahogany neck of this 2-pickup variant of the mid-fifties, glued with a long neck foot, also has the high haptic recognition value of the original with its strong Chunky C profile, while the ebony fingerboard with historically correct fretting, which is reserved for the Premium models, may of course not be missing!

Two hand-wound Custom Bucker Pickups

The double humbucker version of the Black Beauty represents the first Les Paul Custom versions ever built, whose pickup setup consisting of P90 and Seth Lover Single Coil was replaced by the two newly developed PAF-Humbucker and thus heralded the triumph of the pickup that is still famous today. This is implemented in this reissue model by two Custom Bucker pickups hand-wound in the Custom Shop, which follow the classic recipe of the PAF construction and produce matching warm and vocal sounds. The remaining hand-wired electronics with PIO capacitors also remain historically correct.
