With the Gibson ES-339 Trans Ebony, the traditional manufacturer from Nashville, Tennessee presents a handy semi-acoustic electric guitar from the Modern Collection. Based on the legendary "Electric Spanish" design, a compact semi-hollow body and '57 Classic humbuckers provide airy blues and rock sounds with the typical timbre. A comfortable Rounded C Mahogany neck and the typical hardware with Tune-O-Matic bridge and Grover tuners complete the ES-339 Trans Ebony Semi-Hollow guitar from Gibson.

Compact semi-acoustic guitar

Following the "Electric Spanish" design from the end of the Fifties, the body of the ES-339 Trans Ebony is made of three-ply maple-poplar laminate, with a maple center block connecting top and back. Accordingly, the electric guitar offers extremely comfortable handling and resonant ES sound without feedback even at high volumes. Thanks to the pleasantly strong Rounded C profile, the glued mahogany neck offers comfortable playing characteristics up to the 22nd fret of the rosewood fingerboard.

'57 Classic Pickups

With Gibson '57 Classic pickups that carry the genes of the legendary PAF humbucker, the Gibson semi-acoustic on the guitar amp delivers authentic vintage tones with the airy-resonant timbre of semi-acoustic construction. While the '57 Classic neck pickup provides moderate output for harmonic cleans and singing overdrive, the more powerful '57 Classic Plus humbucker at the bridge provides a juicy vintage crunch that brings bluesy licks and driving rock riffs to life. The familiar 3-way switching with its own volume and tone controls for each humbucker controls the tone of the ES-339 electric guitar by Gibson.

Indestructible Hardware

Of course, an indestructible hardware equipment with authentic vintage vibe completes the E-339 Semi-Hollow guitar. From the aluminum stopbar, the strings are guided over the classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, which guarantees optimal intonation adjustment. Behind the Graph Tech saddle, Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure a robust and precise tuning of the electric guitar.
