The Gibson ES-Les Paul Special combines traditional semi-hollow sounds with the legendary design of the Les Paul.
For the ES-Les Paul Special, Gibson also relies on the proven liaison of legendary Paula style and traditional semi-hollow construction. The three-layer maple/poplar laminate body, whose top is flat, promises a warm basic sound with a concise acoustic timbre and harmonious height spectrum. The massive center block reduces the susceptibility to feedback at high volumes. The one-piece mahogany neck with typical Les Paul profile lies comfortably in the hand and carries a fingerboard made of heat-treated maple.
The popular '57 Classic Humbuckers are used as pickups on the Gibson ES-Les Paul Special. With their organic dynamics, these pickups authentically capture the resonant timbre of the semi-hollow body and convince with warm mids and harmonic highs, making them ideal partners for all kinds of blues and rock. The classic Les Paul circuit with individual volume and tone controls allows a wide range of different sound nuances to be called up.
