The Gibson Explorer HP 2017 Electric Guitar EB Ebony is a 6-string model featuring a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fretboard, and an ebony finish. This range of Explorer guitars is new for 2017 and features a range of upgrades that bring the legendary body shape and style into the 21st century with modern characteristics. Comfort and durability have both been enhanced, whilst the classic raw full-bodied sound of these guitars has been increased.
Equipped with two Gibson humbucker pickups, this Explorer offers a wide range of tones and sounds to complement a variety of musical styles including heavy metal and grunge, as well as classic rock and many more. Even in styles that require lower gain, such as jazz and blues, this guitar will do the job. This Explorer HP contains rugged hardware as well as an Aviation-Grade toggle and a gold-plated output jack.
A modern vibe is applied to each guitar in the form of chrome knurled UFO-style knobs and an upgraded G-Force tuning system, which assists quick set-ups. A plush hardshell case is included along with a multi-tool, a leather strap and a polishing cloth to help you keep your guitar in good condition at all times.
