Product information - GIBSON Slim Harpo

Hollow-body guitar with nitrocellulose finish and P-90 pickups, including case

With the Gibson Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330 Vintage Sunset Burst Gibson pays tribute to one of the most influential blues musicians ever. Based on the classic ES-330 thinline hollow-body electric guitar that was largely responsible for Harpo's signature Louisiana Swamp Blues sound, the electric guitar features traditional appointments and P-90 pickups for authentic vintage tones. High-quality hardware and a guitar case with case candies in the form of a vintage reissue guitar strap and a reproduction of Slim Harpo and His King Bees business card complete the Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330 Vintage Sunset Burst electric guitar from Gibson.

GIBSON Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330 Vintage Sunset Burst
The Gibson Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330 Vintage Sunset Burst is a tribute to the influential Louisiana blues icon.

Classic ES-330 Hollowbody

A classically designed thinline hollow-body electric guitar, the Slim Harpo ES-330 features a flat resonant body made of three-ply maple-poplar laminate with F-holes that promises an airy responsive and full sound. The popular Rounded C profile mahogany neck also promises comfortable playing characteristics on the rosewood fingerboard, in which stylish small block inlays mark the frets.

P-90 pickups and handwired circuitry

The pickups on Gibson's Slim Harpo ES-330 are two P-90 single-coils with Dogear caps. With their lively dynamics and surprisingly beefy sound, the pickups provide the perfect basis for singing crunch and harmonic clean sounds. To adjust the tone, the semi-acoustic electric guitar comes with separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, with Orange Drop capacitors promising silky treble roll-offs.

Authentic Hardware Features

Last but not least, authentic hardware completes the Gibson Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330 Vintage Sunburst. From the elegant trapeze tailpiece, the strings are guided over an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, which guarantees optimal adjustment of intonation and string action. The headstock also features Vintage Deluxe tuners and a GraphTech nut for stable and accurate tuning.
