I can see some of the things they have done to keep the cost so low - lower quality machine heads (not Grover) - the neck is made from several pieces - the back is laminated and shaped, but these don't affect the sound - which is great. Sounds pretty good when plugged in too.
This guitar has really bright, wide and powerfull sound! Looks great and feels great!
No, I'm not trying to tell that this is the best 12string guitar in the world, but for this price... Yes it is.
