The Guild S-200 T-Bird Antique Sunburst is a faithful recreation of the electric guitar from the wild 1960s. This guitar comes in a sensational retro design featuring a mahogany neck and body. It also features two Guild LB-1 pickups with sophisticated circuitry for versatile tones when plugged into an amp. The Guild S-200 T-Bird is completed by a high-quality hardware configuration that includes a Hagström Vintage Tremola.
With its fluent retro design, the Guild S-200 T-Bird is a true gem that will grab everyone's attention on any stage. Guild also uses a classic construction method, featuring a mahogany body and glued neck, and a Pau Ferro fingerboard. With its traditional "C" profile, the neck also provides a comfortable foundation for classical and modern playing techniques.
The Guild S-200 T-Bird is equipped with two Guild LB-1 Little Buckers. Thanks to the narrow magnetic field and Alnico 5 magnets, these pickups deliver an assertive, brilliant sound for blues and rock. In addition, the extensive circuitry provides a wide range of different tones. In "Mode 1", for example, only the neck pickup with separate volume and tone controls is available, while "Mode 2" makes both pickups accessible via individual slide switches. In addition to volume and tone controls, there is also a switchable tone filter.
The Guild S-200 T-Brid Antique Sunburst is completed by high-quality hardware equipment in vintage style. The Hagström Vintage Tremar on the body is used to embellish melodies and chords with gently shimmering vibratos. From here the strings are led over the Guild Tune-O-Matic bridge. This bridge offers a wide range of adjustment options to ensure accurate intonation and comfortable string action. At the head plate, the strings run over a bone nut to the precision Grover Open Gear tuners.
