The Ibanez Ibanez AAD170CE-LGS Lefthand features a body made of laminated okoume, which gives the tone a pleasant warmth that is perfectly complemented by the highly pronounced midrange and treble frequencies of the solid Sitka spruce top. In addition, a well-designed X-M bracing ensures a fast sound development, as well as a rich overtone spectrum. For obliging playability, the manufacturer relies on a flat Nyatoh neck with an Ovangkol fingerboard, which is equipped with an extra-grippy low-oval profile. This allows all 20 frets to be easily reached and cleanly gripped in conjunction with a narrow nut width of 43 mm. A tapered headstock additionally provides a higher tuning stability of the 6 steel strings, which run straight over a nut and a bridge inlay made of bone, ensuring a clean intonation on the entire scale length of 651 mm.
