With the AE2912-LGS Natural Low Gloss, Ibanez presents a 12-string Western guitar of the AE series that convinces with numerous advantageous features. These have a positive effect on both its sound characteristics and its playability. An integrated pickup system offers furthermore the best equipment for stage shows.

Structure and sound

The Ibanez AE2912-LGS Natural Low Gloss combines characteristics for high playability and a balanced tone with its AE body. The round body provides excellent sound projection, while the great depth makes the guitar much easier to handle while playing. The wood used also contributes to its great performance. Made entirely of okoume, the sound is characterized by both a warm and transparent note. This is supported by the bridge, which transmits the vibrations directly to the body. The matte finish thereby ensures a pristine tone and is protected by a pickguard that prevents damage to the material when playing with plectrums. Another bonus is the patented Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. These feature a stopper that facilitates removal and insertion, making string changes far less complicated.

Playability

With its nut width of 43 mm, the guitar is an ideal choice for both flatpicking and strumming and, in combination with an Ovangkol fingerboard, impresses with its comfortable playability. In addition, the practical cutaway allows for easy gripping of the higher registers.

Design

Natural Low Gloss stands for a subtle, natural exterior that visually blends into any overall appearance. The guitar is enhanced by its Wooden Vine inlay, which adorns the fingerboard on the nyatoh neck. This visual detail gives the acoustic guitar a noble touch and makes it an attractive eye-catcher.
