While the laminated flamed maple body promises the typical sound character and a dignified look, the slim profile of the glued maple neck ensures excellent playing characteristics up to the highest registers. On the guitar amplifier, floating GB Special mini-humbuckers provide first-class jazz sounds with perfectly dosed brilliance and enormous depth. Naturally, the obligatory GB10 tailpiece, an ebony bridge and tuning-stable die-cast tuners complete the George Benson GB10SEFM-SRR Sapphire RedSignature guitar by Ibanez.

Elegant jazz guitar with high playing comfort
For the large full resonance body of the GB10SEFM Ibanez relies on classic ingredients and manufactures top, back and sides from laminated curly maple. Accordingly, the hollow-body electric guitar convinces with a particularly brilliant sound, which is made for classical and modern jazz styles with the right amount of "wood" and the lively sound development. The slim profile of the three-piece maple neck also promises a particularly high level of playing comfort, while the large cutaway and the neck transition at the 15th fret promise unhindered access to the high registers of the ebony fingerboard.
The floating mounted GB Special humbuckers allow the top of the Ibanez GB10SEFM to vibrate freely.
Floating GB Special Humbuckers
The George Benson GB10SEFM guitar's electrical tone conversion is handled by two Ibanez JB Special Mini Humbuckers, which are float-mounted to ensure the top's unobstructed oscillation. Equipped with classic Alnico magnets, both pickups capture the resonant dynamics of the hollowbody construction and convince with deep, clear basses, vocal mids and an airy treble spectrum. The classic circuitry with 3-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup allows for an almost infinite palette of different timbres.
The string tension for the high and low strings can be adjusted separately via the adjusting screws on the GB10 tailpiece.
Perfectly matched hardware
Perfectly matched Hardware completes the equipment of the George Benson GB10SFM-SRR Sapphire RedSignature guitar by Ibanez. The strings are held by the characteristic GB10 Tailpiece, which allows a separate adjustment of the tension for the low and high str ings. From there, the strings run over the height-adjustable ebony bridge towards the headstock, where they first pass over the brass and bone s addle before meeting the precise and tuning-stable die-cast tun ers.
