Classic design and comfortable handling
The concept and construction of the Gio GSR200 E-Bass pay special attention to beginner-friendly and fatigue-free playing characteristics. Thanks to the ergonomic design with large contours on the front and back, the Nyatoh body promises a snug playing position with perfect balance both sitting and standing. At the same time, the slim GSR4 maple neck fits comfortably in the hand, so that on the 22-fret Jatoba fingerboard with 41 mm nut width, the first bass lines can be implemented comfortably and with plenty of space to cleanly grasp the notes.
Flexible pickup setup and active Phat II EQ
At the bass amp, the Gio GSR200B proves to be a sonic all-rounder for almost any musical style, covering the entire spectrum of classic Bass sounds with the variable PJ pickup setup. While the Dynamix P Split coil in the middle position delivers thrusting tones with rich growl in the low-frequency ranges, the Dynamix J single coil at the bridge convinces with a mid-range and assertive sound. In addition to the blend control for smooth mixing of both Bass pickups and the tone pot for attenuating the treble, the electric bass guitar offers the active Ibanez Phat II EQ, which boosts bass and treble on demand for a rich pushing sound.
Reliable hardware equipment
Of course, Ibanez completes the Gio GSR200B-WK Weathered BlackBass with solid and functional attachments that promise long-lasting reliability and playing pleasure. On the body, the Ibanez B10 bridge guarantees not only a bombproof hold of the strings but also exact intonation and comfortably playable string action thanks to the individually adjustable string saddles.
