In addition to the blend control for smoothly combining both pickup signals, the active Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp of the electric bass guitar has a 3-band tone control with three center frequencies selectable via mini-switch for the center control, and the sound character can be precisely adjusted to the needs of almost any genre.
